After graduation I went to work for Lansdowne-Aldan School in Aldan as a janitor for a short time. After that I went to International Paper Co. located in Aldan and worked as a shipping clerk. After a number of years I felt it was time to move on to something else so I went to work at Aamco Transmission's home office located in Bridgeport and ran a printing press. The long ride to Bridgeport became too much so I got a job in Lansdowne at Griffith's Printing Company. It was during this time I got married. I worked at Griffith's for what seemed like forever. I left and got a 50 hour a week part time job as a security guard at Springfield Mall (which I really enjoyed). In January 2001, I officially retired and moved to Lancaster to a small retirement community called Calvary Fellowship Homes. |
